Every student should expect to work in a supportive environment. My goal is to work with each student’s individual talents and needs throughout the year.
Each student will come to his or her lesson prepared to work hard and have fun!
I expect students to practice at home. It is important to work on breathing exercises and memorization of lyrics outside of studio time.
You will be given a music binder to hold any sheet music given to you during your lessons. Bring this binder with you to each lesson.
Please bring a bottle of water to every lesson.
If possible, students will need to arrange for a recording device at each lesson so they can review their lesson at home.
Visitors
Parents are not required to stay for lessons, but if they wish to stay are welcome at my kitchen table.
Siblings are welcome to work at the kitchen table with their parents.
Students will wait for their rides in the kitchen after their lesson concludes.
